As your Vitality and Nutritional Health Coach, I'm here to help motivate you and create structure within your lifestyle and nutritional habits so that you can experience life at its fullest.

Often, people who are trying to make positive changes are lacking a critical piece of the puzzle: having someone in your corner to help celebrate the wins and be there with you during the highs and the lows. Someone to help you be consistent in taking great care of yourself.

Health coaching is the use of evidence-based skillful conversation, clinical strategies, and interventions. Together, we will actively and safely engage you in health behavior changes to better self-manage your health, health risk, and any acute or chronic health conditions.

The result?

Optimal wellness, improved health outcomes, lowered health risk, and decreased health care costs.

Still, many people struggle to enact the behavioral changes that are necessary for optimizing this outcome. This is where I come in as a Health & Vitality Coach.

As your coach, I create focus on a set of foods, nutritional categories, and challenges that you face. Organizing these struggles into an active coaching framework can help you change how you are eating and shopping, bringing clarity and connection to your lifestyle choices. Coaching is designed to change behavior– that is what makes it such a powerful and transformational tool.

Having a coach in your corner is pivotal in your journey toward achieving your optimal state of health and well-being. I will be your cheerleader, there to motivate you and help you get on (and stay on) a plan that is designed to fit your goals and lifestyle. I will be there for the highs, the lows, and the in-betweens– making sure that you are consistently taking great care of yourself.

Background & Experience

As a professional across multiple industries over the last three decades, Karen is known as a problem-solver and a strategist.

Prior to transitioning into behavioral health, Karen was a well-respected producer and casting director. After 14 years of working in the entertainment industry, she was called to follow her passion for helping others.

Her journey into healthcare started at its very core, managing and overseeing daily operations in upscale urgent care centers. As life can unfold in surprising ways, she then became a producer on A&E's 'Intervention,' where she handled treatment placement and case management.

Her eclectic and diverse background has given her a level of expertise and real-world experience. She has established herself as a valuable resource in connecting clients and families to superior treatment and mental health services nationwide. She has cultivated a network of specialized, seasoned professionals with highly ethical practices and philosophies.

Karen enjoys traveling and connecting with other thought leaders in the world of wellness and mental healthcare. She has a dedicated daily practice to balance mind, body, and spirit. Part of this includes being in the water, whether the ocean or a pool, to connect with the energy of water. She also enjoys cooking and discovering new recipes that are not only delicious but also incredibly nutritious!
